Horse-show Photography

Whether we're working from a list of must-have photos from that horse show, we will trying to get at least 5 shoots of everyone. If you are going to a local horse show contact us or check our instagram @mjh.photography2020 to see if we will be there. If you contact us before the show we will guarantee at least 20 shoots.

Session Photography

After choosing a shoot location, we will visit it ahead of time to design a shoot plan. Then we'll spend time walking with you through the site asking questions. And if the site is new to us, we'll take test photographs. Equines are our specialty.

My Story

In 2013, I had my lesson ever at Southern Cross Equestrian Facility on a chestnut school pony named Zoe. The first day i sat on a horse I loved it. I knew this was wanted i wanted to do. Fast forward 5 years and im still doing what i love. spending time with animals. The only thing that changed it that i also found my love for photography. I fought through many restless nights of not being able to decide what i wanted to do. Finaly it came to mind. why dont I go out to the barn and try taking some shots with my new camera. At first they were the best phots ever. Some were over exposed, under exposed, no deapth of feild, and I really couldn't find any editing softwares at the time to fix these problems... After all the frustration about doubting myself, This summer I've been very motivated to get out and it definitly has shown.

My Experience

I have had the privilege to shoot many events and people. Whether we are shooting a portrait at my home barn or shooting some shots at the local horse shows. You can rely on us for good, professional shots.
